How do I find frequency along with period from my sine Graph? Or could someone just help me with the equation? I'm so lost...

The purpose of this blog is for students to collaborate during the process of creating, recording, and writing an equation for the sound wave of a musical note. The note must come from a wind, string, or percussion instrument made by the student.
You pretty much have to estimate the distance from the top of one wave to another to find the period.

Yes. Choose a section of the graph and guess how long it is. Remember, b in the equation is 2pi/period. Don't just stick the number you get for the period into the equation! Don't be surprised if b is fairly high-it's supposed to be. Frequency is 1/period, which is not the same thing as b.
